University of Maine

University of Maine,also known as Mann university or university of Le Mans, located at Le Mans, was founded in 1977. The tree-lined campus covers an area of 35 hectares. It is a comprehensive university with over 8000 students. It is of moderate size and pays great attention to students’ reception, accompany, guidance and tracking management. The academic departments include School of Law and Economy, School of Literature, Linguistics and Humanities, School of Science and Technology, Le Mans National Higher Institute of Engineers, College of Higher Technology, etc.. The campus has regular bus access. University of Maine offers French courses for international students participating in exchange programs. Le Mans is an important gate way to the west of France. Benefited from the communication infrastructure of intensive highways and railways, Le Mans is 1-hour away from Paris, and about 1.5 hour from Nantes, Ryan and the Atlantic shore.

HEU has established a cooperative relationship with University of Maine since 2009. Currently, we are cooperating in the majors of mechanics and acoustics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc..
